Fancy Talk

I'm glad Monday is here. We have a short week though so my sanity will slip away by Tuesday when the kids are home from school till next Monday. The kids are so excited about all the food and Thanksgiving! Though short, the weekend was great. I was so stressed out well all day Thursday, Friday and then Saturday morning preparing for the parade but after that, it was much more relaxing. After church on Sunday we took our rugrats to the YMCA swimming. Now that Mia is getting older, just seeing the water makes her little legs start kicking! She gets so excited! We aired up her little boat and plopped her in and she just took off kicking her little legs like mad. Damien can touch in one part of the pool but would much rather hang on to momma or daddy. Alex and Dominic were all over the place playing with each other. We brought one of our rainbow reef fish (Dory)and the kids chased after it but at times it'd disappear. They really can move fast!

Dominic came up with a new thing this weekend for us to frantically fix before someone hears him. Yeah one of THOSE words. His new fancy talk is "I'm gonna kick your butt ass!" He says it while playing this pirate Spongebob game on www.nick.com. And I'm not sure if he's trying to say buttocks or butt ass but I'm pretty sure it's butt ass as I've asked him to repeat himself. lol We've told him that's not nice just like we have with the other words he says on occasion while frustrated. Usually there's no cursing, just words you know someone may raise an eyebrow to. A few of his choice words are stupid, poop head, dork, dummy, dum dum, and stupid fart head. Lovely aren't they????

My almost two year old dropped his sippy cup at lunch today and declared "Oh Shit!"

Shawn and I laughed.

Worst parents of the year!

You know, those kinds of phrases were kinda cute once upon a time.... now I am so frustrated when they come out! Good luck getting him to stop that one!
