mommy....Mommy.......MOMMMY!!!!!

Today was a daycare free day. Ahhhh..... What have I been doing the whole day? You guessed it! Housework. Not a day goes by that there isn't something to do here!

As I'm trying to do things around the house I've got Alex and Dom bugging me constantly. Here's a list of what I've heard today and the number next to it will be how many times.

"Can I have a drink?? (20 I'm guessing here!)
"Can I go outside??" (2)
"Can I paint?" (1)
"How do you change the channel?" (3)
"Mommy Choo Choo!!" (20)
"What do you want to do today?" (15)
"Dominic pooped!" (5 because if it takes more than 3 minutes to change it I hear it over and over)
"What's for lunch?" (5)
"Can ___ spend the night??" (4)
"The baby is crying!!!" (10)
"When's Daddy coming home?" (3)

All moms reading this will say 'I've been there before' as it gets annoying hearing the same things over and over while you are busy trying to do something like 4 loads of laundry for the day. Now that Dave has came home, I'm not hearing much out of them and the baby is sleeping which has allowed me a few minutes to type.

This AM Dave called to tell me to watch putting our Dachshund Bailey outside because there was a coyote in the front yard. He turned on his work truck lights and lit up a coyote so he jumped out of the truck to go grab a gun but then it ran off. These things are all around us and we've seen 3 in the past 2 months which has us on edge. If you go outside our house at night, you're hair will stand up on your arms listening to their little howling songs to each other. It's a bit freaky. They will eat small dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, goats, and sheep. Our cat disappeared in February and now I'm really wondering if a coyote didn't get him. He was always around our house then just out of the blue disappeared. For the time being I'll be escorting the dog to pee.

If I had to hear "Can I have a drink?" 20 times I would have gone insane by now! You must have been a saint in your previous life because you are so patient with them!
