Prayers Needed

A dear Kansas friend I met online from Babycenter has been struggling the past few months with some news from her Dr's that her baby may have a form of dwarfism. She's been going to a center in Kansas City that would be able to better deal with the situation. I think a lot of us on the board had hoped that was not the case and they were just wrong. Her appointment yesterday though showed more was going on and the baby definitely has dwarfism. She is 31 weeks, measuring 22. The baby has a failing heart, lung and kidneys. There is fluid all around the heart. They are not sure if the baby will make it to term or die in the womb. It took her about 5-6 years to even get pregnant with this baby. She only has one other child. Please keep her family in your prayers. I can't imagine the pain involved of having to explain this to her 7 year old daughter who wanted more than anything to have a sister or brother. I just want to drive up there and be with her. It's really not that far. I feel awful.
