Quick Post

Haven't posted in awhile so thought I would try. Things have been extremely busy. We have County Fair this week and ever since school got out in May the kids have been preparing projects,. going to meetings, and getting ready for judging. I have put TONS of miles on my poor van. It has been a bit stressful doing all the running around and getting everything ready.

We added some to our family this summer. We still have our baby bunnies that are picture below. They really aren't babies anymore. lol The kids have been wanting ducks for awhile so we bought 3 duckling an a gosling. They are hilarious. All females and so messy. OMG the poop is so gross.

It has been a fun summer so far though. Crazy having 6 kids home all summer. The house is loud and busy but also so much fun. There are fights, bickering, stealing of toys but overall the kids are doing well and not killing each other. lol The kids and I have worked alot in the kitchen with baking. We have also worked our butts off this summer on our garden. Any way I can keep them busy, I'm doing it. lol Keeping them out an about helps alot too.

Rocco just turned 7 months an is a true joy. I can say the more kids, the quicker time goes by. I am trying to record it all. lol He still is not crawling but gets around doing the army crawl. Hes working on pulling up. He LOVES his sisters and brothers. The girls are really rough on him so I'm constantly keeping an eye on him. He is still in his pack n play but we plan on moving him into the crib an getting the girls their bunk beds very soon since Sophia climbs out of the crib. Sophia is 19 month and a rebel. My sweet little baby has the mind of a 2 yr old now and is probably the most difficult of all. lol

Hopefully she turns into my little angel again because of this.

Yes another little one is on the way, totally unexpected. I had the little shake up in April and then my period came however after April 29ths period, nothing. Almost exactly the same thing when finding out pregnant with Rocco, I had started to quit breastfeeding, quit my pill because of the 19 day cycles. Started OPKs all negative and doing NFP. NO SIGNS whatsoever again with the driest sex ever. lol Tested around day 50 an it was negative so sometime after that date. I tested last night at day 74 with a full tummy of pop at 11 pm. It became positive BEFORE coloring the control line. I couldn't believe it. So in the 10 seconds I put the pee on it I was in the bedroom screaming at my husband in disbelief. All he could do was laugh which had me laughing, then we hugged, then I cried, and then we laughed some more. We are happy but floored at how easy this is happening anymore. Who ever thought we would end up like this. lol We both just talked a few weeks back about how it would be neat to have a #7 and #8 in 2-3 years and be done. This wasn't something we wanted right now but we are already in love. I prayed alot this morning and in bed last night telling God how thankful I am for another blessing although scared out of my mind for another C-section! I believe he wanted to let me know that things would be alright. When leaving this morning with the kids, backing out of the driveway the song Beautiful by Francesca Battistelli came on Sirius The Message. I just made a slideshow a month ago of our children to that song. Just the words give me so much peace! I cried all the way to swimming lessons. Thank you Father for your presence because I really need it right now. I love you. You are my everything and i will adore you.

Oh sweetie, congrats to you! How wonderful. You are so blessed.

It's been a while since I checked in with you so I'm so glad I stopped by today to read your blog and see what you are up to. To have children so close in age is wonderful. I love that my last six are so close in age. My first three are close in age, too..but then there is that 4-year gap between #3and #4. Ugh, I hate that gap, lol. But it is what it is...and it's all good. We were expecting our #10 baby in December, but sadly lost that baby just a few weeks ago. My first miscarriage. So hard, such a heartache. Maybe we will be blessed again soon. I would love to add onto our family again. It's always so much fun.

I hope you are feeling well and that this pregnancy goes smoothly for you! So exciting! So happy for you!

Will you be tying your tubes or something? I can't see you ever being truly ready-- you enjoy this process so much!
