Coming to a City Near You?? Part 2

Well Saturday before we went to Kidfest Dave's 2 bosses talked to him while we waited in the car. They had hinted they had something big to talk to him about on Saturday and we were pretty sure it was going to be a promotion because he asked up front if it was anything bad and they said no. They offered him a Service Manager position out of the office he works at Thank God so we won't have to move unless we really wanted to. There are 2 service managers (1 a vacant position right now) and 1 branch manager. All he has to do is take this 3 hour test (yikes!) and he has the job. Today he met the regional manager from Oklahoma who interviewed him for about 30 minutes. The other service manager called Dave and told him that the regional guy thought he would be great for the job and the interview went well. So next step is this 3 hour test that he'll take on a Saturday. Then after this he will be going to Oklahoma to train and then possibly to Dallas, TX as well for more training. He's already asking if I'm going to be able to handle being without him. I've done this a few times before so I think I'll be ok but I'm not saying it's going to be a piece of cake by any means. Anyways he'll be taking this test possibly this Saturday or next and then he may be going to Oklahoma as soon as December but we're not sure yet. Have to wait and see. I'll report more another time!
