I Give Up, I Must Be Doing Somethin Wrong

Well Dom was on the bus at 8:00 AM and the phone rang at 8:30. It was my mom. Shhhhew! 9:15 phone rings again, it's the school. (sigh)

Me: (gulp) "hello?"

Kristi: "Hi Sabrina, it Kristi. I'm sorry to have to do this again but Dominic has diarrhea. He's had two loose stools in 30 minutes time. He's going to need picked up again."

Me: "Ok, that's fine, I have to get the kids ready and we'll be there in a few. He's been acting fine he never got sick again. I still think it has to do with him not eating."

Kristi: "Did he have fruit yesterday?"

Me: "We got him to eat a few bites of Oatmeal, 1/2 a granola bar, a bag of chips, and about 20 grapes."

Kristi: "I thought he had grapes because the skins were all that were there besides the water."

Me: "Ok I'll be there as fast as I can."

By the time I got there, he'd had another loose one. I called the Nurse at the Dr's office. She's giving me samples of Pediasure to start him on AFTER the diarrhea passes. She also told me to stay away from sugary, greasy foods and milk for the time being so off to the store to buy tons of Pedialyte again. This morning I've also noticed Damien is STILL rubbing his ears. I luckily have an Otoscope so I looked in there and they are still red. I bought the Otoscope when Alex was 6 mths old with a reaccuring ear infection. I called the same nurse back and rold her so she's calling in Omnicef for him. I want to just scream, bawl, this is just so frustrating.

It's always stressful to have a sick child, and you've got two on your hands. I hope everyone is feeling better soon.

Hugs to you! I know what it's like to have a sick child. But no idea what it's like to have a sick baby and two other little ones who need me! Good luck to you and I hope Dominic feels better soon!

Hang in there girl. I jusst wrote a post like that myself. I am on 30 hour shift #2 this week of my hubby gone and the house is killing me. It is sucking my will to live. Even being married to a doctor does not mean great helth care. He keeps losing HIS otoscope!
