Oklahoma Where The Winds Go Sweeping Through the Plains!!

Like Kansas doesn't see that! HA! Dave just talked to his boss at work. Seems that the regional manager would like him to transfer to Oklahoma for the same position, alittle more money. He's going to be going down there to train with him soon. I don't know what to say about it yet. Oklahoma city is less than 3 hours from here so we'd be close to family, sort of. That's a big freakin city too! God I don't know. The whole packing up everything and moving is what I worry about, and schools. Dominic does go to a Speech Therapist now. I hate moving, but Dave's out to impress and this would do it. He can still take the position in Wichita for Service Manager if he doesn't want to move. If we do and it doesn't work out, then what? How much of a pay raise are we talkin here?? Should we take a chance and do this?? So many more questions lingering through my brain.

Wow! I agree that moving can be a big challenge but it can be so exciting going to a new place. Best wishes for whatever you choose to do. I can't wait to hear what happens next!

Wow! That's intense. I know it's hard trying to figure out if you want to uproot and go somewhere new or stay put because it's comfortable. A is deciding whether or not to stay in the USAF (he is supposes to be separating in December). If he stays in, we will be leaving Phoenix, thats a given, and that's scary. We actually want to put in for Europe. That's a huge change!

Best of luck in your decision.

Make sure you copare the cost of living between KS and OKC. The pay raise may end up meaning less than nothing if you're paying more in housing costs and such.
