Ok So You Know.....

When I am on for the next 2 weeks, you will be subjected to listen to me moan and groan about D's parents arrival and stay for 2 weeks. Be Prepared. So here's the low down. I was informed just a few days ago (yes that's right, a few days ago) that his parents are coming this friday. And my response was "you have got to be f'in kidding me." These people have NO common sense, no common courtesy but when they arrive this time, you'd better believe they are going to be wanting to go get a hotel room somewhere else this time. I live in complete chaos. My kids are loud, crazy and rambuncious and I let them act like animals if they aren't hurting anything. Last time his mom was here she was all upset because I had a few daycare kids that I let just cry instead of giving into what they wanted and it drove her nuts. (they wanted past the gate in my kitchen.)

So I am expected this week in the hours of nap time, or I guess if I stay up all night, to clean up our basement so they can stay down there. I don't see that happening. Every evening this week, I have kid activities. I can't leave Mia with Damien upstairs because he is untrustable with her. My mother came over and said "just don't set up a bed or clean down there and maybe they'll stay in a hotel." She's smokin crack. My mom knows better and they won't because why not mooch off the kids and make their life a living hell?!? These are the people that when my mom rented a house from them, they tried coming after her for rent because she got back with her husband and broke their lease!!!! Seriously, If you've been reading this blog long enough, you know I about have nervous breakdowns by the time the 2 weeks is over.

But if you can imagine just this: 4 adults, 4 kids, 2000 square ft. 1 bathroom. It's not pretty. It's not fun. And the worst part is that Dave is gone 6 days a week (6 am-6pm except Monday (7am-8pm) so you can see he won't even see his freakin parents but 2-3 hours anyways. Like I said they lack common courtesy and could care less when we tell them only to come during spring break, summer time or Xmas break. So please help me breathe through this. Dave is so knowledgeable about the whole thing he has no idea what time they'll be here Friday and I have soccer practice so I won't be here that evening to drive and pick them up. lol They'll have to cram into his work truck.

PS: We are trying to trade in both our van and truck so when they arrive this time they'll have to go rent a vehicle instead of taking ours and disappearing all day which really pisses me off. We're looking at those 2008 Grand Caravans I was eyeballing awhile back. I'm just not ready to go into a big SUV due to gas prices. Hopefully tomorrow we'll trade them both in and have 1 vehicle plus D's work truck which we can use for whatever and the gas is paid for by the company. ;)

Good luck! Sounds like you are in for a real nightmare. Inlaws are great aren't they? (sarcasm) ;-)

oh, and I'm glad you dropped off a sample about the UTI. I've been on antibiotics this preg already for a UTI (I didn't really know I had it but the urine test found it) and my OB said it's really important to treat it early. Plus, didn't you have kidney stones with Damien? Is that related?
