OYNO's.... A Bargain Shoppers Best Friend.

Most people believe if they have a coupon, they're getting a good deal. In most situations that can be true but even better deals come from stores that double. ;) I've explained in the past using your coupon against store sales, you'll get some really great deals. But sweetening the deal with OYNO's (Off Your Next Orders) is the best deal ever, well besides free. Nothing can top walking out of a store with free items!

This past week one local grocerry chain had a slew of OYNO's throughout the store. What are OYNO's? When you buy so much of certain products, out pops a coupon from a printer attached to the register. Some places also call them Catalina's. Call me a nutjob if you will, but I go down every isle looking for bright yellow tags on shelvees explaining specifics of the OYNO, pull out a pad of paper writing it down and then come home looking for coupons and then returning. Why? Here's an example.

Toaster Strudels SALE $1.99 each (Buy 4 or more get $4.00 OYNO) Take (4) .50 coupons in to store that doubles making my 4 coupons $1 each. TOTAL PRICE I PAID= $1.00 each Not only did I get 4 toaster studels fo $1 each box, I also recieved a $4 coupon for my next shopping trip there.

Sometimes Catalina's may be offering money off a certain product you had bought which is still not a bad deal but honestly if you find an OYNO offering "cash" off your bill, well that to me is better. So I will happily go through my fliers this week looking for more awesome deals that I can pair with my coupons to use my $8 in OYNO's on.

I have taken so many classes to teach me how to shop like that and I still suck at it. It takes so much work to find all the coupons and then the deals at the stores. I wish I were better at it!!

Way to go on the bargains!!

Katie- Are you sure? What chains are near you? We have Krogers that do it. Also Walgreens does the same type program and CVS gives you bucks on a card. Check into that!

Christina- It takes some serious planning and time to map out a strategy. This store I scored at, when we arrive Dominic starts screaming, "I DON'T WANNA GO TO COUPONS!!!" Because he hates it since it takes me so long but he enjoys when i have him take all the extra coupons off the blinkie machines for me to hang onto. LOL Or ripping off store pad coupons. He'll gladly let me coupon at Target and Walgreens though. (for him that equals toyshop)

Wow...you go girl.

I NEVER remember to bring the darn coupons with me. I have a VERY sweet MIL who clips them and sends them to me....and I STILL forget.

Grrrrrrrrr....

if my head weren't attached....

Holy cow, you are organized! I bow down to you, bargain queen!

My sister just told me about www.retailmenot.com - great for ordering online with discount codes.
